Position Overview
Amazon is seeking a passionate and driven Social Media Manager to join our Kapolei team. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to craft and implement our social media strategy across various platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn. You will be instrumental in enhancing our brand visibility, building online communities, and engaging with our customers in meaningful ways.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute innovative social media strategies that align with Amazon's brand voice and business objectives.
- Manage day-to-day social media activities, including content creation, scheduling, and community management.
- Analyze social media performance metrics to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
- Engage with customers and followers, responding to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, PR, and product development, to ensure cohesive messaging and campaigns.
- Research and stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and new social media tools and platforms.
- Utilize social media management tools for efficient scheduling and monitoring.
- Report on social media performance and recommend changes to optimize user engagement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in social media management or digital marketing.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms, best practices, and tools.
- Excellent copywriting, editing, and communication skills.
- Proficient in analytics and reporting tools to measure and evaluate social media effectiveness.
- Creative thinker with the ability to develop engaging and on-brand content.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of social media advertising and campaigns is a plus.
